Happy Holidays from Trout Central!

Hard to believe but we even have to take care of our finned animals here at the ranch...and since most of the trout were pretty good this season we are giving some of them a new home! Late this fall we tried to drain the Safari Pond and relocate the trout to the SFR Ponds by the River Cabin. Unfortunately winter set in early, and ice beat us to moving the fish into their new home. The Safari Pond has a leak in the bottom which requires a new liner to be installed and the pond to be rehabbed. This will do a couple of great things for the ranch: It will offer us the ability to change some of the Safari Pond structure to make it a little more "fishy", give us a good idea of the fish numbers in the pond and allow us to both increase the fish numbers in the SFR Ponds and start a whole new trout class in Safari Pond. Everyone is looking forward to the fishy changes both at the Safari Pond and around the ranch. Looking forward to making your time on the water even more enjoyable!

Happy Holidays Everyone,
